Project: The system we’re working on is a tool for construction companies for managing their projects, keeping track of its progress, storing documents, creating tasks and reporting issues that needs to be solved, generating reports and much more.
Overview:
- Workers can use it via a web page as well as a dedicated mobile application. Our part in the development process is to provide a set of backend services for additional functionalities (not provided by the core part of the system written in NodeJS and React/Angular) using tools already available in Microsoft Azure cloud
- Most of those functionalities are available in form of Azure Functions, which is a very cost efficient way of providing the power of .NET environment, its libraries and possibilities without the need of maintaining dedicated servers
- One of the biggest advantages is that how is simple to use Azure elements using the .NET platform in order to quickly provide required functionality or to integrate it with other parts of the system.
